1. Hardwood Flooring is Beautiful

There’s a reason people dream of having hardwood flooring in their homes – it looks great! One of the great things about wood flooring is that there is nearly an endless variety of options. Hardwood flooring comes in many different colors, styles, species and looks, which means it works in any room, in any home. Because of its variety, wood flooring never really goes out of style and is a great investment.

The Super-Strand Bamboo Collection features seven bamboo flooring products with three different surfaces and a variety of colors. Wood look bamboo looks just like hardwood flooring and is available in gray and white colors. Sawn bamboo flooring looks vintage and weathered because of its textured surface, and is available in brown and white colors. Of course, natural and carbonized bamboo flooring are still available. 3. Hardwood Flooring and Bamboo Flooring are Sustainable

Wood flooring can be sustainable if the wood came from a sustainable source. Today, there are several environmentally responsible sources for wood products that are distinguished by independent certifications, with the current industry leader being the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®). Many of our wood flooring products are FSC-certified, coming from well-managed forests. To learn about our certifications, see our Environmental Attribute Guide.

Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource. Moso, a giant bamboo species is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, taking only four to five years to grow and mature before being cut and used as flooring. During its growth, bamboo also absorbs the same amount of carbon dioxide that is produced when being pressed and milled into flooring. 4. Bamboo Flooring is Stable

Bamboo is an extremely durable species because of how it is made. Strand woven bamboo is made up of compressed bamboo strips that get woven and glued together to create a solid layer of bamboo flooring.

That’s good to know that wood flooring would work well in any room. If you could have so many colors I would think that you could match it to pretty much any color scheme. I might have to consider getting some hardwood flooring put in my kitchen if I decide to remodel it in the future.
